This practical hands-on class will focus on the issues the artist must resolve when working in oil. Oil is one of the oldest and most venerated artistic mediums of all. Three flat hog bristle brushes, sizes #2, #4, and #6.
One round #2 and #4 hog bristle brush.
Palette for mixing paint
Bent handle palette knife
Roll of soft paper towels

Thomas Jefferson Kitts is a Northwest artist living in the Portland area. He has over 25 years of experience painting and teaching art. Widely known for his West Coast landscapes, Thomas also paints the figure and still life from direct observation. This summer, Thomas has been juried into three prestigious plein air competitions, and is offering two 5-day regional workshops in August. He is also a member of Oil Painters of America.
